Happy Halloween! Do you know what's scary...all these recommendation letters I have to write! I actually love doing them and they remind me how special you are to me and how much I am going to miss you next year.

I’ve received a few emails today from students whose colleges have said they have not yet received an official transcript. All transcripts requested on or prior to today through Common App or an individual college's site have been sent. Many times, colleges and universities have thousands of applicants, so it may take time for them to “attach” your transcript to your application. Please feel free to connect with them and let them know your transcript was sent if you requested it before today. They can then double-check for it in their files. If they truly do not have it of course please let me know so I can connect with them to ensure I have the correct upload method.

If you have applied through CFNC you MUST go into your account, go to the application hub, and make sure that all the tasks are complete for each school, including sending your transcript.

Also, I have received a few emails saying colleges are looking for transcripts from Freshman year (from Northwood or another school), again, colleges and universities have thousands of applicants, so it may take time for them to look at your Seaforth transcript to see that your previous school's grades are on that transcript. Please feel free to connect with them and let them know this.

Bottom line...if you have any questions about your specific application, contact the admissions department...they are super nice and eager to help you!
